Reena and Jo’s residence
Project : Reena & Jo’s
Location : Living walls, Banaswadi, Bangalore
Size : 2500 Sft.
Reena and Jo desired a modern and sophisticated home to live in but had no clue on how to achieve the same. We were trusted to the core, and during the meet up they revealed a lot about their likings and hobbies which worked as a framework for our design.
Jo is a bike lover and loves to collect barware from places he travels and has a huge collection of the same. Reena’s favourite colour is blue which she wished in her dream house.
Kitchen being the prime focus we started with it and then planned to synergise it with the entire house.Flooring involved blue geometric pattern tiles separating it attractively from the wooden floor of the house and in sync with the wooden rafters.
Yellow bar chair along with little detailing on the breakfast table made the kitchen area lively
Living room plays around blue and white shade contrasting well with the brickwork on the walls giving a special texture and making the room enlarged and spacious. Reena loved the blue arched mirror giving her the santorini feel.
The TV unit not only has an entertaining element but brings along the entire home theater taking care of Jo’s inclination towards it. Jo likes spending time here with his family and playing video games.
The master bedroom was designed keeping in mind Reena and Jo’s personality. Thus, soft shade colour pallet was used resembling innocence, simplicity and freshness. Wooden flooring brings in a perfect contrast to the wall extended cupboard.
An exclusively designed dressing along with carved mirror sits in the bedroom storing all the knick-knack jewellery of the beautiful lady.
The White Mirrored cupboard was separated by using printed tiles for the flooring.
The boy’s room had a balance of blue and white and wooden flooring giving the final touches. A trundle bed is used to keep up the modernity and make his room spacious for all his needs.
An exclusive bar designed giving the industrial impression to display all of Jo’s exotic collection of barware along with bike wheel seats complementing his bar.
The old dining is reused using the beautiful lights procured in the open balcony giving the expansive view of the city since it is a high rise building.
Overall the house is indifferent from others because of the splash of different vibrant colours being used in different corners of the house.
This corner displays the gold prints on mint coloured walls !!
A teal colour rectangular mirror , becoming an attractive piece in the bathroom.
A personalized home office for Jo in sea green synchronizing with the grey textured wall.
